MARATHON DE L’ANIM’
Imaginarium, Tourcoing
Tuesday 22nd< > Thursday 24th March 2016
For 48 hours, around 15 teams of 3 people, composed of European animation students and professionals from production studios, will participate to a creative challenge: to produce 10 seconds of animation per team, based on a key image designed by an animation professional (2012: Ben & Julia ; 2013: Raoul Servais ; 2014: Franck Dion ; 2015: Michel Ocelot).
All the video sequences will be pieced together and mixed up with a soundtrack to create a short film that will be screened at the closing ceremony of the Fête de l’anim’ on Sunday, March 27th.
VIDEO MAPPING WORKSHOP

Monday 21st > Friday 25th March 2016
For 4 days, around 15 teams of 4 people, composed of European audiovisual students and professionals, from animation, digital arts, graphic design, etc., will participate to a creative challenge: to produce together a video mapping performance that will be screened on the façade of Lille’s Opera House on Friday, March 25th, during the opening ceremony of Fête de l’anim’.

Saturday, 26th and Sunday, 27th March 2016
Thanks to a tablet and your talent, give the best of yourself against your challenger!
The participants will have between 15 and 35 minutes (according to the phase of the competition) to make a live graphic creation based on a theme which will be lots drawn before each new phase of the competition.
Battles will be live streamed on a big screen, accompanied by DJs. A jury will name the winner until the finales.
